Automate your Contact-sheet in Nuke

Nuke script designed to generate an auto contact sheet for selected nodes within Nuke software. It provides a range of customizable controls, allowing users to fine-tune the appearance and layout of the contact sheet according to their needs.


Features

  • Resolution Multiplier: Adjusts the resolution of the output contact sheet.

  • Show Labels: Toggle to show or hide labels.

  • Global Font Scale: Set the global text font scale.

  • Translate: Allows for translation of the text within the contact sheet.

  • Font Color: Sets the color of the text in the contact sheet.

  • Enable Label Background: Adds a background behind the text to improve readability, which can be toggled on or off.

  • Label Background Color: Provides a control to change the background color.

  • Label Background Opacity: Adjusts the transparency for the text label background element in the contact sheet.

  • Draw Border: Enables or disables borders around the images in the contact sheet.

  • Border Size: Sets the width of the border within the contact sheet.


Installation

This script is designed to work within the Nuke software environment.

  1. Copy the folder gizmos and python in your .nuke folder located at C:\Users\<username>\.nuke.

  2. Copy the content of init.py in your init.py located at C:\Users\<username>\.nuke if the file already exists else copy the file directly.

  3. Copy the content of menu.py in your menu.py located at C:\Users\<username>\.nuke if the file already exists else copy the file directly.
