Automate your Contact-sheet in Nuke

This Nuke script is created to automatically generate a contact sheet for chosen nodes within the Nuke software. It offers various customizable controls, enabling users to adjust the appearance and layout of the contact sheet to suit their preferences.


Features

  • Resolution Multiplier: Modifies the output contact sheet's resolution.

  • Show Labels: Switches the display of labels on or off.

  • Global Font Scale: Adjusts the overall text font size.

  • Translate: Enables text translation within the contact sheet.

  • Font Color: Determines the text color in the contact sheet.

  • Enable Label Background: Toggles a background behind the text for better readability.

  • Label Background Color: Allows adjustment of the background color.

  • Label Background Opacity: Modifies the transparency of the text label background in the contact sheet.

  • Draw Border: Toggles borders around images in the contact sheet.

  • Border Size: Specifies the border width in the contact sheet.


Installation

This script is intended for use with the Nuke software.

  1. Transfer the gizmos and python folders into your .nuke directory at C:\Users\<username>\.nuke.

  2. If an init.py file already exists, paste the content into it; otherwise, copy the file directly to C:\Users\<username>\.nuke.

  3. If a menu.py file already exists, paste the content into it; otherwise, copy the file directly to C:\Users\<username>\.nuke.
